Design Background
I have always lived creatively. Even as a child I loved making something beautiful out of nothing. I find that a great design grows organically through thoughtful consideration of function and the needs of my client. Since graduating from The University of Akron with a BA in Interior Design, I have decided to pursue my true passion and join the California Closets team whose values and commitment to exceptional customer service align with my own. I truly enjoy collaborating with every individual I meet to tailor a solution that exceeds their imagination.
Rachel's Design Style
My personal design style is an elevated form of traditional with a sophisticated twist. I have found that I most drawn to our Tesoro collection. Its deep texture paired with on-trend color choices create a stunning look in any style home. Ultimately, California Closets makes it easy to design for any style with our wide selection of materials.

Had such a wonderful experience with California Closet. Exceeded my expectations with design session, costumer service, following up regarding install & install showed up on promptly when they said they would. My consultant was Rachel & my installer was Dino. Friendly, professional & great to work with. Great quality products & team works with you to accomplish your goals. I’ve already scheduled new projects with them & highly recommend them to you. Round two. Had Rachael back for round two of design work since we moved our master closet. I love the shelving as it has created more space for organization and easier access. Dino was great. Punctual, friendly, explained the install process & left the closets spotless and clean. Highly recommend CA Closet for your needs!- Rachel was very attentive to my needs regarding my storage space. If I was not happy with a design she wasted no time identifying how she could assist in helping. She is very professional and responsive. Although, the cost is a little more than the average handy man, however, it is very difficult to find a reliable professionals. In addition, I know from my experience the quality and customer service that was provided by Rachel C. and her team from California Closet in Cleveland, Ohio as well as the Tampa, Florida team is well worth it. I would refer and use again.
- I have had California Closets complete several closets for me. All have been excellent. Master closet, pantry and installing a Murphy bed in a spare room. Rachel C. was knowledgeable and responsive with good ideas. The installers were all professional. I recommend and will use them again.
- Such a great experience! I love the designs Rachel came up with my kids closets. I quoted many other companies and nothing compared to her designs. And Dino was amazing! He did such a great job installing. I can't not say enough great things about our experience.
- Loved our sales rep Rachel a ton, she was awesome in helping us to make final decisions on our designs as well as suggesting things we didn't even think of:) We ended up adding more projects than we even needed lol The work on all have been amazingly well done and they are so fast and efficient.
