The best part about my job is that every day is different and every client comes with their own unique story. Whether I’m walking onto a noisy construction site, or a cozy home you’ve lived in for 20 years, I’m able to quickly adapt my focus to align with your goals for any kind of space.
I joined the California Closets team in 2015 after receiving my Bachelors of Fine Arts in Interior Design from the Design Institute of San Diego. Born and raised in Ventura County, California, I am happy to now call San Diego home.
As an interior designer, I have a unique outlook and appreciation for all things design related. I work closely with my clients to see each of their spaces as an exciting opportunity for improvement in both functionality and beauty. My ultimate goal is to show how truly thoughtful space planning can absolutely transform any space.
My other passions include photography, traveling, and cute dogs. I look forward to seeing what we create together!

Katie really worked with us to help us meet all of our needs and design a beautiful and functional closet. I had spoken to other closet companies and nobody put in the effort that Katie did to ensure we loved our closet.- I was very happy with my project from start to finish. Katie from California Closets took her time to help me custom design the cabinet and it was installed on the date as promised. Carlos, the carpenter who installed the cabinet, was also conscientious and skilled with the installation, since my project was tricky and needed more attention to detail. The end product was exactly what I had envisioned. Highly recommend Katie and Carlos from Custom Closets!
