I always think about home as our sanctuary, our personal space where we retreat from the world. That’s why I am always looking for ways to make areas of the home more functional, organized and harmonious. To me this where we start to define our life, it starts in the places you spend most of your time.
After earning a Degree in Business Administration, I decided to move to San Diego and follow my heart and passion by going to The Design Institute of San Diego to become an interior designer. Prior to joining California Closets, I worked in model home design, high-end furniture and commercial design.
I’m well versed in designing for residential, commercial and retail spaces. I look forward to beginning this journey with you!

I worked with Claudia. She did an amazing job designing our daughters built-in for her room. It came out perfect and we are so thrilled!- The team that worked with us was outstanding. Claudia listened to our vision for the projects and then designed even more than we had hoped for. She was very responsive to all our questions and ideas. Carlos and Fabian, the installation team, were friendly and professional. They kept us informed of the time they would arrive, updated us on their plans for each day and let us know when they were finished for the day. If we need any other work done, we will be sure to call on California Closets--San Diego.

Claudia Hemmi is a superb designer, and the custom cabinet system she designed for converting a small bedroom to a study was perfect, providing a highly functional and attractive workspace along with a murphy bed which converts the room back into a guest bedroom when needed.
